Jay Schrader-Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals

Jay started guitar lessons at ten years old, and switched to bass guitar at 14. Excited by the low end grooves, he quickly took to being part of the driving and potent rhythm section in various bands. Rocking 4 and 5 string bass with a high-powered tone, Jay is equally comfortable playing intricate lines as well as locking in the groove and playing in the pocket for a world class approach to his position. His musical influences encompass Geddy Lee, John Paul Jones, Boston, The Beatles and various grunge bands. A veteran of local bands Arch Angel, Double Shot, Redemption Road and Spindle 45, as well as bassist for both his Parish, Heritage Church, and other local churches; Jay brings a big sound and major chops to Bad Trixie’s line-up.
