Nick Doukas-Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals

Nick Doukas is a guitarist from Long Island, New York who now resides in Southeastern Michigan. He started playing in the early 1980s, inspired by players like Eddie Van Halen and Randy Rhoads. A former student of Al Pitrelli (TSO) and John Petrucci (Dream Theater) Nick brings a high energy, aggressive and technical hard rock style reminiscent of his biggest influences including EVH, Rhoads, George Lynch, Paul Gilbert, Nuno Bettencourt, Neal Schon and Brian May. A huge fan of everything metal, Nick also has a tremendous love for upbeat pop music, where he melds his classic hard rock guitar style with melodic playing to bring excitement and authority to any track. An established player on the New York club circuit with cover bands Cerebrus, Head Case and Full Circle, as well as hitting the Detroit scene with Empress and Queensryche tribute Mindryche, Nick brings exhilarating shred playing and energetic, bold rhythms to Bad Trixie’s sound.
