Tricia Downey-Lead Vocals
Fascinated with singing since the age of 3 when she saw a female vocalist performing on TV, Tricia instantly knew she wanted to sing. Spending hours in her room practicing along to the radio, trying to imitate various artists and hit a spectrum of notes, she developed a strong and eclectic style that eventually led her to sing in both the church and school choirs. Tricia also performed in talent shows, and is a classically trained pianist as well. Throughout it all, music remained therapeutic and her ultimate form of self expression. Intrigued by various classic and progressive rock singers, as well as pop artists, her influences include Ann Wilson, Pat Benatar, Amy Lee, Joan Jett, Cher, Steve Perry, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. She eventually developed an interest in hard rock, 80s hair bands, rap, hip hop and a love for country music. A consummate professional with local Michigan bands Skarlett Heart, Ten Beach Drive and Atomic Beat, Tricia is a dynamic front-woman with a powerhouse voice who brings intensity, mastery and excitement to every performance.
